In 1998, Nancy embraced a bold new chapter, leaving Birmingham to start fresh in San Miguel de Allende. What began as a leap of faith at age 50 quickly blossomed into a vibrant life filled with friendships, community, and professional success. In 2004, she partnered with Jim Dolan to found CDR San Miguel Real Estate, which has since grown into one of the city’s most respected brokerages. Their company became a founding member of Forbes Global Properties in 2021, cementing its international reputation. For Nancy, real estate is more than business—it’s about helping people find the perfect fit, guiding them with warmth and trust during one of life’s most meaningful decisions. Even after 23 years, she remains enchanted by San Miguel and continues to welcome newcomers with open arms.

Ann Dolan, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, has called San Miguel de Allende home for nearly three decades. She co-founded Casas de San Miguel, the city’s first full-service property management, rental, and sales company, which grew rapidly before being sold in 2000. Today, she is a Global Real Estate Advisor with CDR San Miguel | Forbes Global Properties and a founding member of REALM Global, where she connects clients with elite properties worldwide. Alongside her husband Jim, Ann raised three children in San Miguel, embracing a bilingual, bicultural life enriched by community, education, and tradition. Passionate about sharing San Miguel’s magic, Ann welcomes others into the vibrant lifestyle she has cherished for years.

Katharine Hibberts, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, discovered her passion for global travel and culture during her college years at Auburn University, including a formative study and work program in London and extensive backpacking across Europe. She began her career in New York’s fast-paced fashion industry, where she built expertise in marketing and sales. After a short time in Nashville, she followed her heart to San Miguel de Allende, where she has lived for the past 20 years. As the owner of Premier San Miguel House Rentals, she delights in helping visitors discover the city’s magic. Katharine describes life in San Miguel as a constant joy and renewal, finding fulfillment in sharing its beauty, culture, and charm.

Julie built a three-decade career in automotive marketing and client services, including a senior leadership role at a global data and marketing firm where she led national strategies that boosted sales and brand recognition. After raising two children with her husband, she retired in 2022 and relocated permanently to San Miguel de Allende, where she had long-standing family ties and memories from decades of visits. Today, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes tennis, cooking, market visits, charity work, travel throughout Mexico, and frequent trips to see her grandchildren.
