Katharine Hibberts

Katharine Hibberts, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, pursued her higher education at Auburn University. It was during her college years that her passion for international travel and diverse cultures first ignited. An enriching work and study program in London provided her with the initial spark, which she then fanned into a full blaze by embarking on an extensive backpacking adventure across the rest of Europe. These formative experiences undoubtedly shaped her global perspective and fostered a deep appreciation for new horizons.

Upon graduating, Katharine launched her career in the bustling New York City fashion industry. Here, she honed her skills in Marketing and Sales for a prominent label, navigating the fast-paced and competitive world of high fashion. After a brief interlude in Nashville, Tennessee, she finally made a life-altering decision, following her heart to San Miguel de Allende twenty years ago. This move marked a pivotal moment, signaling a significant shift in her personal and professional journey.

When asked about her life "South of the Border," Katharine’s enthusiasm is palpable. She frequently exclaims, "It just keeps getting better!" Her genuine joy is evident as she witnesses friends, family, and new visitors inevitably succumb to San Miguel’s charm, falling "in love at first sight." For Katharine, the role of a tour guide in this "magical little" city is far from mundane; it’s an ever-renewing source of delight and fulfillment. Her deep connection to San Miguel and her desire to share its beauty with others are clearly central to her identity."
